Why bamboo is the best to wear

Why bamboo is the best to wear

Bamboo fibre is a versatile fabric with a myriad of advantages including strength, durability, and silky-smooth comfort to name a few.

I can say with absolute certainty that bamboo is the best material to put on your skin!
Here are my top 5 reasons why bamboo is number 1.

1. No more grundie undies!

Due to the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties in the fibre, bamboo is naturally odour resistant and does a great job at keeping germs and bacteria at bay, resulting in keeping your nether regions fresh and undies that are cleaner for longer.

2. Breathability

Bamboo contains micro gaps within its structure which allows air to pass freely through keeping your family jewels cool as they should be.

3. Protect yourself from polyester and other synthetic materials!
Not only is polyester quite harsh on the environment, it can be quite harsh on your body too. Polyester has been known to interfere with hormones, sexual health and can cause skin rashes.

4. Bamboo is hypo-allergenic good for people with eczema
Eczema flare ups are usually caused by clothing that is prone to cause overheating, sweating and irritation. Bamboo is extremely efficient at regulating temperature, wicking away moisture and is silky smooth which avoids rubbing and irritation.

5. Moisture wicking material
Bamboo is excellent for any climate where you’re working up a sweat. It naturally pulls moisture from your skin to the surface where it can evaporate which helps keep your skin staying cool and dry. It also dries very quickly so if you do sweat up a storm you won’t have to worry about being wet for long.

It’s our aim here at Ultimate Underwear Club to delve deep into where our materials come from and have a clear reasoning behind what we choose.  We want to provide the best material not only because we care about the environment, but also because we care about your health, wellbeing, and comfort.
